چکیده
The massive machine-type communications (mMTC) paradigm based on media modulation in conjunction with multi-input multi-output base stations (BSs) is emerging as a viable solution to support the connectivity for future Internet-of-Things, which inherent access at BSs poses significant challenges device activity and data detection (DADD). This paper considers DADD problem both uncoded coded mMTC slotted frame structure, where remains unchanged within one frame. Specifically, due structure adopted modulated symbols, signals exhibit doubly structured sparsity time domain domain. Inspired by this, doubly approximate message passing (DS-AMP) algorithm proposed reliable case. Also, we derive state evolution of DS-AMP theoretically characterize its performance. As case, develop bit-interleaved scheme propose an iterative (IDS-AMP) successive inference cancellation (SIC), signal components associated detected active devices are successively subtracted improve decoding In addition, channel estimation discussed efficient data-aided information (CSI) update strategy developed reduce training overhead block fading channels. Finally, simulation results computational complexity analysis verify superiority over state-of-the-art algorithms our confirm that SIC-based IDS-AMP can enhance performance case validity CSI strategy.

D2D-Based Grouped Random Access to Mitigate Radio Access Network Congestion in Massive Machine-Type Communications
Massive Machine-Type Communications (mMTC) presents significant challenges in terms of the number of devices accessing the shared resource, and coordination among those devices. This paper overviews work on RAN congestion control in order to better manage resources in the context of device-to-device (D2D) interaction among the MTCDs. It then proceeds to introduce a novel grouping-assisted rando...

We identify issues and solutions in the key area of Massive Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO). We illustrate the role this technology will play in 5G communications through two study cases. In the first study case, we propose a Massive Multiuser (MU)-MIMO setup to tackle the mixed-service communication problem. Our results suggest that, as the array size at the base station progressively in...
